stevens family | washington family session

when we went to seattle i was able to squeeze in a session with my sister and nephews. 

(i say squeeze, because we literally did this on our way to the airport!) 

parker and clark are so cute...and i'm not just saying that because i'm their auntie! :)

the boys love exploring outside and all those tall trees and ivy patches 

make for some great pint sized adventures. 

i loved being able to capture that little bit of their love for 'xplorin. 

and my sister is pretty much a model.....well, she should be. she's gorgeous.

& chase you around with my camera.

seattle trip.

have i mentioned that my family lives in seattle? 

our youngest little man and i went out there to visit for a week. 

leo loved meeting his aunties, an uncle, cousins, grandparents and great grandparents. 

he got lots of snuggles & love...and i got lots shooting time with some perfect little models. :)

later this week i'll share the session i did with my sister and her boys amongst the ginormous trees of washington...all those evergreens are magical.

it's finally here! this is what i've been waiting for. for a  l o n g  time. it's a love i've had since my teens...when i'd bust out the disposable camera and try to take artsy pictures of anything and everything. (if you're one of my sisters, you know what i'm talking about) a creative passion fostered by my photographer father, who taught us how to process photos the old fashioned way: in dimly lit red darkrooms. taking pictures is something i'm head-over-heels in love with. seeing things in from new perspectives and learning how to capture life in new ways. 


and i'm crazy excited (and slightly terrified) to take this leap of faith and share something i'm passionate about with other people. hopefully they (or you!) are inspired by these little frozen moments in time and maybe even fall in love with blue house fotos.
