when we went to seattle i was able to squeeze in a session with my sister and nephews. 

(i say squeeze, because we literally did this on our way to the airport!) 

parker and clark are so cute...and i'm not just saying that because i'm their auntie! :)

the boys love exploring outside and all those tall trees and ivy patches 

make for some great pint sized adventures. 

i loved being able to capture that little bit of their love for 'xplorin. 

and my sister is pretty much a model.....well, she should be. she's gorgeous.

change is good. :)

this is the gilbertson family. 

we met up on another gorgeous day for outdoor pictures...i think it was close to sixty degrees! 

winter can just turn into spring. i'd be okay with that. :)

izzy and amelia are adorable and so sweet. within a few minutes of meeting izzy was holding my hand...so cute. :) we started out at a park and ended the session at their beautifully landscaped house. their daddy even got home from work in time to join in on the fun. 

megan, it was so great to meet you guys!! 

your girls have the sweetest personalities and i loved getting to capture that. :) 

emery. 5 days new | lincoln newborn photography

this is little emery. the first newborn for blue house of 2012! :) 

emery is a little sweetheart. she has her mommy and daddy wrapped around her tiny little finger...

and i can see why! she was perfect! 

she is going to be one well dressed little girl; i've never seen such a large collection of headbands and accessories...all made by her momma! so adorable. 

and she just may have the longest newborn toes i've ever seen...and we all know how much i love me some newborn toes. emery was my guinea pig for the newborn wraps i will be using now.

...she pretty much rocked them.

hoeche family | grand island family photography

this unseasonably warm weather has been amazing...who would have thought you could be outside on december 31st without coats on in nebraska!? just wonderful. 

this is the hoeche family. katie and i played in orchestra together in high school...and that had been the last time i saw her. they now live in washington, but were back for the holidays and wanted to squeeze in a session. and i'm so glad they did because it was great to see her and meet her cute little family.

 abel is going on 6 months and is one of the most content happy little guys ever...he hardly made a peep and was nothing but smiles. made my job easy, that's for sure. 

it was great to see you katie! i really loved capturing how much you guys love abel. :)
